Wow, I’m not sure what to write. After all this time our website is almost finished and its full of mud kitchens made in the UK and currently one high sleeper den bed! I don’t think it will ever be ‘properly’ finished because there always seems to be an endless list of things to do. I have also realised that there is no point in waiting for everything to be perfect, because that day will never arrive. You have just got to start your journey, one big clumsy foot in front of the other and off you go, accepting you will fall over and get a bloody nose, your website will crash, photographs won’t look as good as they should, your husband’s back will go at the most inconvenient time, and setting up Paypal (which was supposed to be easy) will turn into an all consuming obsession and then you will decide not to use it after all …but thats life!

I don’t know what lies ahead, but I do know we look to the future with hope and perseverance, determined to enjoy and savour each moment. This really is ‘our’ family adventure. We can’t always control the outcome but we can control our attitude and outlook. We are excited about the future and we are going to try our best to squeeze the most out of every day. Our mission (because apparently we all need a mission) is two fold

  • To try and create the most exciting childrens’ products in the world
  • To try and encourage us all to get ‘out’ there (wherever that is) and play, laugh, create, be curious and explore

We hope you love our products as much as we do and we look forward to sharing our journey with you. The good, the infuriating, the awards (hmmm) and well, whatever life throws at us.

Love Anne, Harry & Paul

Blog post picture about imaginative play

The importance of imaginative play!

Today I will be superman, no I will be a Tinkerbell from Peter Pan, no I think I will be a Roman solider. Encouraging Imaginative play for our children is so important. Lets play!
